On our way out of LA we stopped off at Long Beach & did a tour of the Queen Mary.....talk about huge. It is also a hotel in part of it, with different restaurants on various floors.
We cruised up Pacific Hi-way 1, the coast road, stopping off at Hermosa Beach (Manhattan beach), up past Malibu, stopping off just the other side of Ventura. We stayed at a Spanish villa, with complimentary wine, then a short walk to a very good Italian Restaurant & to finish we went to bar like no other with outdoor underfloor heating, chimneas, leather lounge suites with cabana's and a huge square pad - on the front lawn it had large square beds/couches with hanging lights & mirrors.......inside they had Tango lessons, a very seductive type setting!!!!!!! An interesting way to end the night.
Oh dear! Will be tough coming back to the real world!
