Vancouver Island

We had a late start today, found a car we liked parked on the street, even had a water feature in the back seat & on the bonnet. We did a bit of shopping downtown Vancouver before heading to North Vancouver to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island from Horseshoe bay. The ferry trip was a 95 minute trip across from the mainland, a very scenic & smooth sailing.

We made our way to Victoria about a 100ks from where the ferry landed. Asked the receptionist for a dinner recommendation - she suggested an oyster bar!!!

So off we went - it was so popular we had to wait to get in but it was worth the wait.
